Important changes to permitted development

The Government will introduce changes to permitted development with effect from the 1st of October. For further information, visit the Planning Portal website.

The Planning Portal is the UK government's online planning and building regulations resource.

About the Planning Portal

You can use the tools and information on this site to find information relating to the planning system, how it works and the regulations that apply including what development you can perform around your house under Permitted Development.

The Portal's services also let you apply for planning permission electronically as well as submit and track an appeal online.
