The United Kingdom’s Strategy for Countering International Terrorism

This strategy aims to reduce the risk to the United Kingdom and our interests overseas, so that people can go about their lives freely and with confidence.

We have had considerable success in countering the terrorist threat since CONTEST as first adopted six years ago, including disrupting a number of planned terrorist operations against the UK and bringing those responsible to justice.
