Safeguarding children

The cross-government National Safeguarding Delivery Unit has launched ‘The Government’s Response to Lord Laming: One Year On’.

This is part of a set of documents designed to offer further support and clearer guidance to everyone involved in safeguarding children and young people. 
 
As part of this package, the government has also published revised statutory guidance, ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children’. This comes into force with immediate effect.
