Consultation details
The formal consultation on the draft guidance notes on how to interpret the provisions of the Infant Formula and Follow-on Formula Regulations 2007 closed on 14 February 2008. The consultation responses will be placed on this website, alongside the original consultation, as soon as they are collated.
In considering the responses to the consultation, and to take account of additional information received relating to the interpretation of 'advertising', and also the interpretation of 'scientific publication', the Agency has amended Appendix I and II and intends to insert a new Appendix V. Before finalising the guidance notes, the Agency would be grateful for additional views from stakeholders on the content of the following sections only:
- amended Appendix I – Interpretation of 'advertising'
- amended Appendix II – Guidance on 'representation'
- new Appendix V – Interpretation of 'scientific publication'
